Venue

The Summer School of IGARSS 2024 will be hosted at the Lambadarios Building, School of Rural, Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering (SRSE), of the National Technical University of Athens, at Zografou Campus.

General Information

The School of Rural, Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering (SRSE) was founded originally back in 1917, yet it received much acknowledgment during 1930 under the leadership of Professor Demetrios Lambadarios.

Professor Lambadarios was a member of Athens Academy and served as a Rector of the NTUA from 1928 to 1933 and as a Dean of the School for many years. Today, the School's building in Zografou Campus carries his name.

Location

The School is located at the large modern Zografou Campus of NTUA, close to the city center of Athens.

Access

A hired coach has been set for moving to and from the Venue, departing from a convenient location close to the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre (MAICC) and to our suggested hotels. The coach is set to park in the parking lot next to the main entrance of the School of Rural Surveying and Geoinformatics Engineering, as depicted above.

The Campus gate is on Katehaki Avenue and it is about 7 minutes from the Katehaki Metro Station (Blue / Airport Line).

Accommodation

Room rates are quoted in Euro, per room, per night, including Breakfast and VAT, excluding accommodation taxes. According to these accommodation taxes (now climate taxes), the amount 3,00 euros in 3* hotels and 7,00 euros in 4* hotels, will be applied on top of the room rate per night.
